I think yesterday just might have been one of the most wonderful days of my life...
Yesterday, I worked 6:45-3:30 at Kidz World Kidz Kare. We went to the pool for close to 5 hours (I got an INTENSE sunburn), came back to the church where I helped set up for a Fine Arts desert theater followed by two, no wait three rehearsals for the theater tomorrow.... I finally fell out of my car and into my bed around 9:30 that night...
It was a very very long day indeed. However, my Love was with me the whole day. No, we weren't side by side every moment, holding hands, whispering in each other's ear, and planning our wedding day... but we were together. It was like a view of what a real day with him would be like... Oh yes, I'm sure the honeymoon will be amazing but after that what will it be like? It will be very much like that day. Always with me or at least never far away, making me smile. I, his helper and he my leader. Doing little things to benefit the other for "when a man loves his wife he is loving himself"...

a little surprise...
I don't really have time to be blogging... Family are coming in town tonight for my Graduation on Saturday (I'M GRADUATING!!!?!?!?! WHAT? WHERE DID THE TIME GO?!?!) But anyway... just wanted to record some memories.
My good friend DJ, just got home from her first year at North Central U. And we all missed her very much so we decided to throw her a little party :)
We all brought food, and then played some epic capture the flag, completed with a viewing of DJ's favorite movie: The Princes Bride. :) It was a wonderful night indeed.

just a glimpse...
Its been so incredibly long since I've written anything, but I'm honestly to tired to try to recap stuff... so I'll just start where I'm at....
So tonight was mine and Josh's 2nd date with the Rutledges. And I love them more and more as we continue to get to know each other. There really is nothing like some good ole fashion fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ. Nothing I find more encouraging.
I've often wondered if Josh and I would have people like the Rutledges to mentor, encourage, and challenge us in our growing relationship(our courtship). But recently, I've been amazed at the doors God is openning for us and Josh in this area. More and more people are coming into our lives who could potentially help us and who we could possibly help. God's faithfulness never gets old, never ceases to amaze me. But anyway, that's another story...
On a totally different note, I'd like to record a thought/experience I had tonight...
We ate at a new restaruant tonight that Josh had brought to my attention. It was a little Italian place. Italian food is my favorite. :) It was in Afton Ridge, a cute little community popping up in southern Concord. And by 'cute little' I mean urban, active, culturally diverse, but very classy, upper middle class, artsy, and very pleasent. Martino's was right smack in the middle of this community. We sat on the outside patio over looking another 2 story shopping complex filled with other quaint restarants and shops. Just down from the shopping complex was the new YMCA where Josh and I worked out, and in the opposite direction began the many rows of town houses, condos, and appartments; deeper back in the rows single family houses actually existed. Somewhere to our left there was a guy with a guitar singing his heart out at a coffee shop. The weather was perfect; it was a balmy 80 degrees with an occational breeze, the sun was setting in our view. Couldn't have planned a better day...
Our conversations where pleasent, although sometimes serious they were encouraging and beneficial. After 2 hours of this, it was time for the Rutledges to retire and Josh and I made our ways back to our cars. The sun had offically set and the evening had turned to night. The trees and and hand rails of the buildings were lit with white lights, that guy was still singing in the backround, everything was fresh and happy and new and unexplored.
We began our normal course of saying goodbye and it hit me... might Nashville hold this same since of new beginning and unexplored opportunities? Might it be as wonderful and fasinating as this? I feel my writing ablities are failing me at the wonder of this moment. It was the first time I could compare this concept called 'Nashville' with a real life experience and with the emotions that came with it.
I'm not so much of a realist to think that our whole life in Nashville will be all fun and games, all pretty lights and nice dinners... I knew it wouldn't all be like that. But until that moment, Nashville was as far from me as the moon; I've heard of it, heard of its qualities and what it has to offer, I've seen it, seen it from afar and seen pictures of it. But tonight, it was like I could almost feel it.
